Two-Way Text Alert

Communication during an outage is easier than ever.

SHELD now has the ability to communicate with our customers through two-way text message notifications.

This new feature is beneficial as it allows for our customers to simply text SHELD if they experience a power outage. In addition, it allows for a more streamlined way for SHELD to communicate with customers regarding power outages, restoration time lines, peak day/time notification and so much more!

To enroll in this free program, simply complete the below application. After an application has been successfully completed, you will receive notification via email to confirm your submission.

Add the phone number 1-833-351-1503 to your cell phone as SHELD Text Notification for easy access during an outage.

If you previously received a welcome message to the new service and replied “QUIT,” opting out by mistake, you can text “OPTIN” to 1-833-351-1503 to re-subscribe.
